Congratulations to Two New AMI Auxiliary Trainers!
We congratulate two new AMI Auxiliary Trainers for Montessori for Aging and Dementia: Henna Jalovaara from Finland and Carolyn Magnussen from Norway!
Henna Jalovaara is an award-winning Occupational Therapist at Wilhelmiina Care home. She is also the founder of Muisti Montessori, an organization dedicated to bringing the Montessori philosophy to elder care in Finland.
American born Carolyn Magnussen has been living in Norway for 40 years. She is a skilled Montessori educator, author of a text book about Montessori for elder care, and the owner of Montessori Care, an organization that provides consulting, education and materials to improve the lives of the elderly.
Jennifer spent he Fulbright experience with both of their organizations and served as their mentor through the lengthy Training of Trainers program.
